The Digestive Reset Treatment is a gentle, abdomen-centered session designed to ease digestion, release belly tension, and help your nervous system settle. It's quieter and more focused than a traditional spa massage.
How it begins
You stay clothed throughout, with only your abdomen uncovered. Please wear something loose and comfortable. I start with Chi Nei Tsang, a Taoist organ massage that works slowly and intentionally with the belly and navel center. In Taoist tradition, the belly is where tension, emotion, and stress are said to gather, and this work will help you release that stagnation.Castor oil pack and heat
A warm castor oil pack is placed over your abdomen to encourage liver detox, lymphatic flow, and bowel motility. Warmth continues with a hot water bottle or heat lamp, helping your belly soften and let go. This is often the most restful part of the session, and many people drift off.Closing
We finish with a grounding foot massage and hot towels on the feet, so you leave feeling calm and settled. What you might notice
Belly gurgling, deep relaxation, sleepiness, or the need to use the restroom afterward are all common and normal.Aftercare
Drink plenty of water, eat lightly, and give yourself a quiet evening if you can. Please do not get a session if you are:
Pregnant, have had recent abdominal surgery, have a hernia, or are in an active digestive flare-up. -
The treatment should not be painful. The touch is gentle yet deep, and I work with your body’s natural responses. Some areas may feel tender as we release tension or emotions, but I’ll always check in with you make sure you are comfortable.

Castor oil has long been used for its traditional benefits, including soothing inflammation, encouraging lymphatic flow, supporting the body's natural detoxification, and nourishing stretched abdominal tissues.
Castor oil packs were popularized by Edgar Cayce, who believed they influenced the nervous system and many other systems in the body, helping restore overall health. Physician William McGarey later explored their use in his clinical practice and reported improvements in immune function.

You should wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your abdomen. I recommend avoiding tight or restrictive garments, as it may interfere with the treatment’s flow. You’ll remain fully clothed, with just your abdominal area exposed.

It’s best to avoid heavy meals an hour before your session. A light snack is fine, but having a lighter stomach helps your body be more receptive to the treatment. You’ll feel more comfortable during the session without the pressure of digestion.

Why the belly?
In Taoist tradition, the abdomen is considered one of the body’s most important energetic centers — the seat of vitality, intuition, emotional processing, creativity, and life force.
We digest not only food, but also experiences, emotions, and daily stressors in this space.
